Resumen
El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de comprobar de qué manera influye el uso de la sala letrada en la comprensión y producción de textos escritos de los niños y niñas de 5 años de la Institución Educativa N° 025 del distrito de La Unión. El tipo de investigación es aplicada y el diseño es cuasi experimental, pues se ha trabajado con un grupo experimental y otro de control. Para recoger información se ha aplicado las pruebas de pre test y post test a una muestra conformada por cuarenta niños y niñas. El instrumento utilizado ha sido la ficha de observación. Los resultados nos permiten concluir que la sala letrada influye positivamente en la comprensión y producción de textos escritos en los niños y niñas de 5 años. Ello ha permitido corroborar la hipótesis que se había planteado. El estudio concluye recomendando que las instituciones educativas de Educación Inicial pongan en práctica la estrategia utilizada en esta investigación y que propicien sesiones de interaprendizaje entre sus docentes, de manera que se realice un efecto multiplicador de las buenas prácticas pedagógicas como es el caso de la sala letrada.
