Resumen
El comportamiento asertivo se fundamenta en la ética como "acción comunicativa y de socialización" siendo parte inherente al conjunto de conductas de un individuo dentro de un contexto interpersonal, por ello se estableció el objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de asertividad y las habilidades comunicativas, en el cuidado del usuario, en enfermeras asistenciales del Hospital Regional de Ayacucho, 2011, Hipótesis de investigación, fue el nivel de asertividad se relaciona directamente con las habilidades comunicativas, en el cuidado del usuario, en enfermeras asistenciales del Hospital Regional de Ayacucho, 2011. Materiales y métodos: tipo de investigación, método descriptivo cuantitativo, transversal, área de estudio, el Hospital Regional de Ayacucho, muestra, constituida por 125 enfermeras(os) asistenciales, el tipo de muestreo es probabilístico por criterio de inclusión y exclusión. El instrumento la técnica de recolección de datos fue el test de habilidades asertivas y comunicativas, los resultados fueron: Del 100% (125) de enfermeras asistenciales el 72.8% tienen habilidades asertivas de nivel alto, de las cuales, 40.8% presenta habilidades comunicativas de nivel promedio y 32% alto; el 25.6% tiene habilidades asertivas de nivel promedio, de quienes, 22.4% presenta habilidades comunicativas de nivel promedio y 2.4% nivel alto. Conclusiones. El nivel de asertividad se relaciona directamente con las habilidades comunicativas, en el cuidado del usuario, en enfermeras asistenciales H.R.A.
