El objetivo fue determinar el efecto de dietas con bajas concentraciones de lecitina de soya sobre el crecimiento, muda y supervivencia de machos de Cryphiops caementarius. Dos dietas experimentales con 0,3 % y 0,6 % de lecitina de soya, un control negativo (sin lecitina de soya) y un control positivo (1,0 % de lecitina de soya) con tres repeticiones, respectivamente. Los camarones machos de 5,15 cm y 6,69 g se sembraron con densidad de 32,26 camarones m-2 y se cultivaron en seis recipientes individuales por acuario, durante 90 días. El mayor crecimiento tanto en peso y longitud se obtuvo con 0,6 % y 1,0 % de lecitina de soya en la dieta, significativamente diferente (p<0,05) que los demás tratamientos. El período de muda y la frecuencia de muda no fueron afectados. La supervivencia fue de 94 % con 0,6 % y 1,0 % de lecitina de soya, significativamente alta (p<0,05) en relación con los demás tratamientos que estuvieron entre 77 % y 61 %. La mayor producción se obtuvo con 0,6 % (0,304 Kg m-2) y 1,0 % (0,284 Kg m-2) de lecitina de soya en la dieta, significativamente diferente (p<0,05) que los demás tratamientos.
