Gestión de servicios hospitalarios y la percepción familiar sobre los cuidados en pacientes de las unidades de cuidados intensivos del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño - San Borja

Abstract

El trabajo realizado sobre la gestión de servicios hospitalarios y la percepción familiar sobre los cuidados en pacientes de las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño - San Borja, se realizó bajo la interrogante ¿Qué relación existe entre la gestión de servicios hospitalarios y la percepción familiar sobre los cuidados en pacientes? y se formuló con el objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la gestión de servicios hospitalarios y la percepción familiar sobre los cuidados en pacientes. Investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva de diseño no experimental transeccional correlacional. La muestra la integran 54 familias de los pacientes de las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño - San Borja. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el cuestionario para cada variable (gestión de servicios hospitalarios y percepción familiar sobre los cuidados). Entre los principales resultados descriptivos se halló que el 38,9% consideran que es regular la gestión de servicios hospitalarios y un 37% tienen una percepción regular sobre los cuidados en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño - San Borja. Su principal conclusión fue: A mayor gestión de servicios hospitalarios mejor será la percepción familiar sobre los cuidados en pacientes de las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño - San Borja (p < 0,05, Rho de Spearman = 0,850 Correlación muy alta).
