The present research study develops that if we analyze the social, political and economic context we can say that the government of Sánchez Cerro was full of problems that only presidents with great guts can assume, on the one hand, in the social context the president did not know how to handle the protests of Apra and instead of proposing a dialogue table, it prepared to disappear the Party of Peru knowing that thousands of Peruvians were militants of this party. Turning to the political context, Sánchez Cerro did not know how to handle the conflict with Colombia well, because for a moment he was oblivious to the war, and he only changed his mind when the people of Loreto took Leticia, we must also mention that Peru was not in the best moments for a war, because on the other hand in the economic context the crisis of 1930 was not overcome until the end of 1932 and the corruption during his government buried plus the little that the general did for the Peruvian economy. That said, we can say that the death of Sánchez Cerro was inevitable, since the upper and lower classes before his death were against the mishandling of the president in his government. Now regarding whether there was a conflict to kill the president?, we must make it clear that the investigations into the murder of Sánchez Cerro did not have a great result, because according to Basadre only Mendoza Leyva was found guilty, and it was not proven that there was a conspiracy for this murder, after several years the Aprista leader Armando Villanueva revealed in his book that there was a conspiracy led by Apristas, on the other hand Rojas mentions that there was an alliance between Benavidez and Haya but not to kill the president but to bring a climate of pacification during his government, but points out that said pacification did not last for long because the change of the Prado cabinet for the cabinet of José de la Riva Agüero would bring a time for Apra called the great persecution where the party was shortly after dissolving.
