Uso de herramientas circulares en la toma de decisiones para el manejo del tizón tardío de la papa Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) en variedades resistentes.

Resumen
El presente trabajo se efectuó con la finalidad de comparar las
frecuencias, la severidad, rendimiento e impacto ambiental, usando la estrategia
de las herramientas circulares (discos de apoyo), para el control del tizón tardío
Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) De Bary, bajo condiciones climáticas del distrito
de Paucartambo – Pasco en las localidades de Cacara (2889 m.s.n.m., 41º 23´
75.97” de latitud sur y 88º 09` 028.52” de longitud occidental) y Aco (2702
m.s.n.m, 41º 68´ 91.00” de latitud sur y 88º 09` 848.00” de longitud occidental).
El experimento se desarrolló con dos variedades una que ya era difundida en el
Perú Serranita (INIA 309 – Serranita) y la otra recién liberada por el (CIP), (INIA
325 – Poderosa) agrupadas en un grado de resistencia genética: (ambas son
resistentes), el cual estuvo manejado por el tesista. Se usó el diseño
experimental DBCA (Diseño de Bloques Completamente al Azar). En el
experimento se contó con tres tratamientos en cada una de las variedades
estudiadas y estos fueron: tratamiento (T1), Evaluación de disco cada 11 días;
(T2), Evaluación de discos cada 15 días; (T3), Evaluación de discos cada 19
días.
El inicio de aplicaciones y evaluaciones se realizó a partir de los 42 dds
(días después de la siembra), las evaluaciones de severidad se realizaron cada
7 días, haciendo un total de 14 evaluaciones en el anexo de Aco y 13
evaluaciones en el anexo de Cacara. Se demostró que el tratamiento (T1),
evaluación de discos cada 11 días causa mayor impacto ambiental, debido a
que realiza mayores aplicaciones al cultivo. En cuanto a los rendimientos se
demostró que no existe diferencia estadística entre las estrategias utilizadas
(uso de los discos de apoyo).
