Evaluación comparativa del fipronil (Ectobull) versus una ivermectina (Biomec L.A) al 1.2% en el tratamiento y control de Melophagus Ovinus en ovinos en el centro experimental de Casaracra – UNDAC

Resumen
La investigación se realizó con ovinos de diferentes edades en el Centro Experimental
de Casaracra de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias – Universidad Nacional Daniel
Alcides Carrión. Ubicado en el Distrito de Paccha, Provincia de la Oroya, Región Junín,
el objetivo fue Determinar comparativamente la eficacia del Fipronil 1% versus la
Ivermectina (Biomec L.A) al 1.2% y en el tratamiento y control del parasitismo causado
por Melophagus Ovinus en ovinos. Los tratamientos fueron: T1 (20 ovinos dosificados
con Fipronil 1% (Ectobull)), T2 (20 ovinos dosificados con Ivermectina al 1,2%
(Biomec L.A) y T3 (20 ovinos sin tratamiento). Las evaluaciones fueron hechas en los
días 0, 15, 30, 45 y 60 post-tratamiento. Los resultados encontrados nos permitieron
llegar a las siguientes conclusiones y recomendaciones: El Fipronil 1% (Ectobull) es más
efectiva en la eliminación de Melophagus Ovinus, alcanzando una eficacia de (90,24 %)
que la Ivermectina 1.2% (Biomec L.A.), con una eficacia 70.02%. El Fipronil 1%
(Ectobull), mostro una gran acción antiparasitaria en el control de Melophagus Ovinus
de alta efectividad a los 60 días y el uso de Ivermectina 1.2% (Biomec L.A.), tiene gran
efecto en la eliminación de Melophagus Ovinus en menor %, pero estadísticamente el
uso de ECTOBULL es más eficiente y recomendamos usar el Fipronil 1% como
antiparasitario de larga acción y persistente en la eliminación de los Melophagus
Ovinus, tendiendo en cuenta las indicaciones y bajo los esquemas planteados en el
presente trabajo de investigación por lo que se recomienda que se debe realizar una
investigación a mayor escala para demostrar el efecto del Fipronil 1% sobre la
Ivermectina 1.2% en la mortalidad de los Melophagus Ovinus.
