Resumen
El objetivo de la presente investigación fue comprobar el efecto hepatoprotector
del extracto etanólico de la Brassica Oleracea L. (Col Morada) en ratas con daño
hepático inducido con tetracloruro de carbono. La metodología aplicada fue de
tipo experimental y aplicada. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 30
ratas, agrupados en 6 grupos (5 ratas para control negativo, 5 ratas para control
positivo sin tratamiento, 5 ratas con tratamiento de Silimarina, 5 ratas con
tratamiento de extracto al 500 mg/kg, 5 ratas con tratamiento con extracto al 1000
mg/kg y 5 ratas para tratamiento con extracto al 2000 mg/kg). Como resultado
tenemos que la concentración de 1000mg/kg fue la que demostró tener mayor
efecto hepatoprotector, y a la comparación con la Silimarina, de igualmente se
evidencia que la concentración de 1000mg/kg del extracto etanólico de Brassica
Oleracea L. (Col Morada) fue más efectiva. En el análisis histológico se visualizó
que hubo mayor daño hepático en el grupo de tetracloruro de carbono (CCl4) a
diferencia del grupo de CCl4 + extracto 1000mg/Kg y el grupo de Silimarina
donde se observó un parénquima hepático más conservado. Finalmente, se
concluye que existe un efecto hepatoprotector del extracto etanólico de la Col
Morada frente al daño hepático inducido en ratas.
