Creencias irracionales en estudiantes del primer ciclo de una Universidad Privada de Lima Metropolitana

La presente investigación propone estudiar la existencia de las creencias irracionales en estudiantes del primer ciclo de una Universidad Privada de Lima Metropolitana. La muestra está conformada por 109 estudiantes de los cuales 63 son mujeres y 46 varones, las edades de los participantes se encuentran en el rango de entre 16 a 39 años. La investigación es descriptiva, el diseño es cuantitativo, no experimental y transversal. El instrumento que se utilizó fue el cuestionario de Creencias Irracionales de Albert Ellis. Los resultados determinaron que si existen creencias irracionales en los estudiantes y entre las creencias más predominantes se pueden identificar la VI Miedo o ansiedad 56,0 %, III Culpabilización con 45,0% y II Altas auto-expectativas con 40,4%. A partir de los resultados se realizó un programa de intervención, las cuales estuvieron conformadas por 8 sesiones, con un tiempo de duración, por sesión, de una hora, con la finalidad de reducir las creencias irracionales en los estudiantes universitarios que la presentaron The present investigation proposes to study the existence of irrational beliefs in students of the first cycle of a Private University of Metropolitan Lima.
