Resumen
La investigación describe resultados sobre la eficiencia de “Salicornia fruticosa” para
la disminución de sales del Sector Baldera. En diagnóstico principal, se identificaron varias
zonas salinizadas en el área, permitiendo la siembra de la planta halófila “Salicornia fruticosa”
donde se logró minimizar los porcentajes de sales, garantizando así su recuperación.
Como referencia tenemos estudios realizados con Almajo Salado “Salicornia
fruticosa” en recuperación de suelos, los cuales en nuestra región Lambayeque en el Sector
Baldera – San José se ven altamente afectados, ya sea por salinización, compactación,
deforestación, sobre explotación, quema, insecticida, inundación de suelos con aguas servidas
y muchos factores típicos de una región donde el agua no es un recurso de gran abundancia
natural. La metodología implementada para la ejecución del objetivo es por medio del
trasplante de esta especie en el suelo afectado, captando éste las cargas de salinidad del suelo;
dejándolo apto para nuevos cultivos. Por medio de esta investigación se muestra la rentabilidad
del uso de dicha especie para la recuperación de suelos ya que nos brindó resultados
satisfactorios en la recuperación paulatina de los suelos salinos.
La región Lambayeque es una zona costera en la cual existen grandes cantidades de esta
especie; la cual es desperdiciada al no ser implementada como recurso para recuperar suelos,
debido al poco conocimiento de los beneficios que tiene, por lo cual en esta investigación se
brinda los conocimientos para que se sigan desarrollando metodologías de mejora y cuidado
de los suelos, produciendo en dicha región grandes beneficios económicos y ambientales.
