Durante los meses de marzo a mayo de 2021, se realizó el presente
ensayo en la región Pasco, distrito de Yanahuanca, con el objetivo de determinar
el contenido de TPH, propiedades físico – químicas del suelo y crecimiento de
rabanito, en un suelo agrícola contaminado artificialmente con petróleo en una
dosis de 3% y 6%, al cual se le agregó 20% de vermicompost. La metodología
de investigación usada fue el hipotético deductivo con un nivel explicativo. Los
tratamientos fueron 5, el primero, un suelo con 3% de petróleo, el segundo con
6% de petróleo, el tercero con 3% de petróleo más 20% de vermicompost, el
cuarto con 6% de petróleo más 20% de vermicompost y el quinto de control,
dispuestos en un diseño experimental completamente aleatorizado, con 3
repeticiones. Los resultados mostraron una disminución de 30.56% y 7.75% de
TPH en los tratamientos con 3% y 6% de petróleo, respectivamente, debido a la
aplicación de vermicompost. El uso de la enmienda orgánica disminuyó el pH, el
carbonato de calcio y la densidad aparente del suelo, incrementó la materia
orgánica, el contenido de P, K, CIC, y cationes cambiables; asimismo, influyó de
manera favorable en el desarrollo de la planta de Raphanus sativus L.
evidenciándose en la altura de planta, longitud de raíz, peso seco radicular y
aérea de la planta de rabanito. Se recomienda aplicar vermicompost a un suelo
contaminado con hidrocarburos de petróleo, debido a la mejora de propiedades
del suelo, remoción de TPH y mejor crecimiento del rabanito.
