La presente investigación se propuso el objetivo de conocer la relación entre felicidad
y gratitud en tiempos de pandemia; se planteó como hipótesis principal que sí existe
relación significativa entre felicidad y gratitud en tiempos de pandemia. Para ello, se
evaluó durante el mes de agosto del año 2021a 374 personas con edades de entre 18 y
60 años, con una edad promedio de 35 años, que viven en una urbanización del distrito
de Ate en Lima. Se utilizó para tal evaluación la Escala de felicidad de Lima (Alarcón,
2006) y la Escala de gratitud de Alarcón (Alarcón, 2014); se realizó un tipo de
investigación básica, a un nivel de investigación no experimental y con un diseño
correlacional bivariado. El resultado central al que se llegó es que la relación entre
felicidad y gratitud es positiva y significativa y que no se ve afectada por la coyuntura
y la nueva realidad en la que se encuentra el país. Asimismo, se halló que el grupo etario
no representa una diferencia significativa en ninguno de los constructos medidos, es
decir, la edad o las etapas de la vida no representan una distinción en el nivel de
felicidad y gratitud de las personas.
