Propuesta de un captador solar térmico plano modificado con absorbente de acero LAF para zonas rurales

Esta investigación se realizó con el fin de diseñar y evaluar un captador solar térmico plano para flujo de agua, de bajo costo y rendimiento similar al de modelos existentes en el mercado nacional, para satisfacer las necesidades de agua caliente sanitaria (ACS) de poblaciones que residan en zonas rurales. El prototipo propuesto se compone de una cubierta de vidrio templado, un circuito hidráulico de cobre y una placa absorbente de acero negro laminado en frío (LAF), material elegido por su bajo precio y fácil operatividad. En este documento se detalla: el diseño y construcción del captador solar, la configuración del ensayo de rendimiento y los resultados obtenidos en términos de eficiencia y costo del equipo. Para evaluar el rendimiento del captador se realizaron seis ensayos entre los meses de noviembre y diciembre de 2015, los resultados arrojaron para este prototipo una eficiencia pico (η0) de 45.23 %, un factor de eficiencia (FR) de 0.77 y un coeficiente global de pérdidas (UL) de 4.33 W/m2/°C. El precio de este prototipo se estima en S/ 1190.00, siendo un 15 % más barato que el modelo comercial disponible en el mercado local. Se concluyó que el prototipo evaluado posee una eficiencia pico menor al promedio, pero una mayor capacidad para conservar el calor. Asimismo, constituye una alternativa más económica que su competencia, aunque no de forma significativa, pudiéndose mejorar el diseño para hacerlo más accesible a la población que viva en zonas rurales con alta disponibilidad de energía solar y bajo poder adquisitivo.
