El impacto de las tertulias literarias dialógicas en la actitud hacia la lectura en niños de tercer grado de primaria de una institución educativa de Arequipa

Resumen
Las tertulias literarias dialógicas (TLD) son una intervención educativa que se basa en
la lectura de un libro que pertenezca a la literatura clásica universal con la finalidad de
promover el diálogo, el respeto por las ideas y la reflexión de los participantes. Es por ello
que la presente investigación tuvo por objetivo medir el impacto de las TLD en la actitud
hacia la lectura en estudiantes de tercer grado de primaria de una institución educativa
pública de Arequipa. La investigación fue cuantitativa y cuasiexperimental con diseño de
pretest y postest. La muestra estuvo conformada por 51 alumnos del tercer grado de primaria,
divididos en un grupo experimental y un grupo control (27 y 24 alumnos respectivamente).
La intervención educativa fue desarrollada en la institución educativa escogida durante 20
sesiones pedagógicas. La actitud hacia la lectura se midió utilizando la “Escala de actitudes”
de Cueto, Andrade y León. Los resultados demostraron que las TLD mejoraron la actitud
hacia la lectura en los estudiantes de la muestra, si bien no se encontró diferencia significativa
entre niños y niñas del grupo experimental después de la aplicación.
