Companies currently use cluster technologies as a platform for applications that support their core business services. Implementing clustering technologies ensure high availability for mission-critical applications and services, because both hardware and software failures are quickly detected. The operations of a failed node are immediately resumed by another node in the cluster Hidden risks or failures are inevitable in any IT environment. No enterprise is exempted from its clusters being able to suffer inconveniences that will generate unavailability of service and in turn financial losses. Monitoring the infrastructure allows better use of resources, proper operation, and system performance. This article describes the implementation of a monitoring system named Zabbix and applying a network design methodology called PPDIOO. Implementation will reinforce the monitoring of clusters and customizes the monitoring system. It will increase customer satisfaction, rules for cluster events and monitored resources.
