Factores asociados en el retiro anticipado de los implantes subdérmicos en mujeres atendidas en el Hospital Regional de Ica, 2019

Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados al retiro anticipado de los
implantes subdérmicos en mujeres atendidas en el Hospital Regional de
Ica, 2019.
Material y método: Estudio de tipo básico y de nivel descriptivo,
retrospectivo y transversal, la muestra fue de 92 usuarias que se retiraron
el implante anticipadamente en el Hospital Regional de Ica, para recopilar
información se elaboró una ficha de recolección de datos la cual consta de
cuatro bloques (características sociodemográficas, factores obstétricos,
efectos colaterales y tiempo de retiro), lo que permite recabar la información
necesaria para el desarrollo de este estudio. Los resultados fueron
presentados descriptivamente.
Resultados: De las 92 usuarias que se retiraron el implante
anticipadamente se encontró como resultados que en la dimensión factores
sociodemográficos: el 59,8% de usuarias tuvo edades entre los 20 y 35
años, el 46,7% fueron convivientes y el 65,2% estudió secundaria. En la
dimensión factores obstétricos: se presentaron con mayor frecuencia
48,9% usuarias con más de un hijo, el 42,4% tuvieron como antecedente
de MAC el inyectable trimestral. En la dimensión efectos colaterales: el 38%
manifestó sangrados inesperados, el 70,7% presentó aumento de peso, el
42,4% manifestó cefalea como síntomas generales y el 34,8% presentaron
ansiedad. En la dimensión tiempo de retiro: el 48,9% es decir la mayoría se
retiró el implante pasado los 12 meses.
Conclusión: Se determinó que los factores demográficos no son un factor
de riesgo, los factores obstétricos y efectos colaterales si se constituyen en
factores de riesgo, en su mayoría de una manera positiva a excepción de
la edad, estado civil, antecedente de MAC encontrándose asociados en el
retiro anticipado de los implantes subdérmicos también se determinó que
los factores sociodemográficos no están asociados en el retiro anticipado

de los implantes subdérmicos, también que en los factores obstétricos, el
factor más influyente encontrado fue la paridad, mostrando un OR= 1,807,
encontrándose asociado en el retiro anticipado de los implantes
subdérmicos y en los efectos colaterales, el más influyente encontrado fue
las alteraciones menstruales, mostrando un OR= 4,082. A su vez se han
identificado otros factores influyentes, como el aumento de peso, los
síntomas generales y las alteraciones emocionales, estos tienen una
relación de asociación significativa al incrementar en 2,1; 2,4 y 1,2 veces
respectivamente, encontrándose asociados en el retiro anticipado de los
implantes subdérmicos.
