ABSTRACT
Objective: To determine the relationship between labor factors and work
stress in nursing professionals at Tito Villar Cabezas Hospital,
Bambamarca, 2020.
Material and method: Study of descriptive type, transverse and relational
level, the study population was; 38 nursing professionals, who responded
to a questionnaire with characterization variables and a scale-type
instrument of 14 items for the variable work factors and 22 items for the
variable work stress. The results were presented descriptively and
Spearman's Rho test was used for the testing of hypotheses.
Results: 36.84% of participants perceive work factors at a bad level,
31.58% regular and 31.58% good. In its working environment dimension
36.8% perceive it as regular, in its technology dimension 34.2% perceive it
as regular as well and in its organizational dimension 39.5% perceive it as
regular. Likewise, 42.11% have work stress at a low level, 28.95% average
and 28.95% high level. In its emotional fatigue dimension 47.4% had an
average level of stress, in depersonalization 57.9% obtained a low level, in
personal realization there was 39.5% with average level. On the other hand,
according to Spearman's correlation, a value of 0.627 was found, in addition
to being significant (p-0.000).
Conclusions: There is a direct link between labor factors and work stress
in nursing professionals at Tito Villar Cabezas Hospital, Bambamarca,
2020.
