Frecuencia del perfil psicomotor en niños de una Institución Educativa Privado y Estatal, Lima 2015

Resumen
El desarrollo psicomotor es la progresiva adquisición de habilidades funcionales
del niño a medida que éste crece, proceso gradual, en el cual es posible
identificar etapas de creciente nivel de complejidad. El tipo de estudio realizado
fue descriptivo transversal, el objetivo fue conocer la frecuencia del perfil
psicomotor en niños de una Institución Educativa Privado y Estatal, Lima 2015.
La población objeto de estudio fueron 111 niños, seleccionados a través de los
criterios de inclusión, fueron evaluados a través del test de tepsi, que permitió
medir el perfil psicomotor del niño; Los resultados muestran que del 100% de la
población evaluada sólo el 14,4% de la población está en condiciones
normales. Ya que la cifra más representativa es la de riesgo con un 64,9%,
seguido de los niños que presentaron 20,7% de retraso en el desarrollo
psicomotor, con respecto a la puntuación Apgar al 1er minuto el 95,8%
representó el retraso en el desarrollo psicomotor y al 5to minuto se registró el
100% de niños con riesgo en el desarrollo psicomotor, del mismo modo la edad
representativa con 43.5% con retraso en el desarrollo psicomotor fue 2 años, el
sexo más representativo el sexo masculino con 56,5% con retraso en el
desarrollo psicomotor y el 61,1% con riesgo. Todo esto asociado a el grado de
instrucción de la madre, en donde el 49.5% de la población sólo tiene estudios
secundarios, mientras que el 39.1% presentó mayor retraso en el desarrollo
psicomotor correspondiendo a las madres con estudios secundarios
incompletos.
