Resumen
Los tratamientos en estudio fueron 8 clones de caña producto de los cruzamientos genéticos de la serie 2003 realizados en la Estación (Perú Vista Florida, PVF), las variedades foráneas B60-267, Q58 y CP81-1254, y los testigos comerciales fueron las variedades PCG12-745 y H32-8560. La unidad experimental estuvo constituida por cinco surcos de 15m de longitud distanciados a 1.5m, haciendo un área de 112.50m2, para efectos de evaluación del rendimiento de caña se consideró los 3 surcos centrales en un área de 45m2. El manejo de la parcela fue similar al manejo tradicional.
