dc.description.abstractAborda la inundación de lago glacial (GLOF) a lo largo del río Chucchun en la Cordillera Blanca del Perú ocurrida en abril del 2010. En este contexto, se reconstruye las características hidrológicas del evento aún no documentado utilizando un modelo de inundación 1D preparado con HEC-RAS. Menciona que los principales datos del modelo se obtuvieron durante estudios de campo detallados de las características de la superficie y la topografía dentro del río y en la planicie aluvial adyacente.
