Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los factores sociodemográficos y clínicos con la mortalidad en pacientes COVID-19 del Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión, 2021. Materiales y métodos: El presente estudio es retrospectivo, analítico y longitudinal, de tipo análisis de supervivencia. Se revisaron 530 historias clínicas 279 fallecidos y 251 recuperados. El procesamiento de datos se realizó con el programa SPSS, para la prueba de hipótesis se aplicó la prueba de estimación de riesgo por medio Hazard Ratio (HR). Resultados: Se encontró que la edad mayor de 60 años incrementa el riesgo de mortalidad en 1,8 veces (HR 1,881; IC 95%: 1,451- 2,437). La enfermedad renal crónica incrementa el riesgo de mortalidad en 2.5 veces (HR 2,579; IC 95%: 1.188- 5,597). El valor de Pa/FiO2 menor de 100 incrementa el riesgo de mortalidad en 2,9 veces (HR 2,907; IC 95%: 2,194 – 3,851). Los valores de PCR > 145.95 mg/dL, Dímero D > 1010 y LDH> 672.75 incrementan el riesgo de mortalidad en 1,8 veces (HR 1,871; IC 95%: 1,415- 2.473), 1.4 veces (HR 1,466; IC 95%: 1,118- 1,922) y 1.6 veces (HR 1,634; IC 95%: 1,274- 2,097) respectivamente. Conclusiones: Los factores asociados a la mortalidad por COVID 19 fueron la edad mayor de 60 años, el antecedente de enfermedad renal crónica, PaFiO2 disminuido y los valores elevados de LDH, PCR y dímero D.
