Gestión de riesgos y su impacto en la accidentabilidad de un velódromo

El sector construcción abarca a una de las actividades de mayor riesgo: el izaje de estructuras, por ello existe regulación y supervisión de cada una de las tareas, actores, equipos y elementos implicados, para asegurar que en el momento que interactúen se reduzca el riesgo de accidentabilidad y se obtengan los resultados constructivos esperados en tiempo, costo y seguridad, sin embargo el análisis para un proyecto no es igual a otro, por ello que cada proyecto requiere una evaluación de peligros y riesgos, como es el caso del proyecto de montaje del techo del velódromo en las instalaciones del complejo deportivo del Perú en Lima, como parte de los juegos panamericanos, y que además de los riesgos propios de izaje, se enmarca en un contexto de ejecución contra el reloj y la suma de peligros en paralelo por el actuar de otros proveedores. Es así que se justifica este trabajo de investigación, el cual toma como base la metodología de análisis de riesgos y peligros, identificando primero, valorizando después, para finalizar ofreciendo un plan de acción que reduzca el riesgo durante el proyecto, y se logre los resultados esperados. Al culminar el análisis, el riesgo por puesto se redujo hasta en 46.71% respecto al valor original, sumado a la supervisión en campo, se concluyó el proyecto con cero accidentes durante las 6’500,000 horas hombres empleadas, validando así la hipótesis que el método es efectivo en trabajo de alto riesgo.
