Evidencias de validez de la escala de homonegatividad internalizada HNI – 16 en jóvenes trujillanos

Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar las evidencias psicométricas
de la Escala de Homonegatividad Internalizada en jóvenes trujillanos. Para la
realización del estudio se utilizó una muestra no probabilística conformada por 313
personas mayores de 18 años entre hombres y mujeres. Con relación a la validez de
contenido se utilizó el método de criterio de jueces, donde 6 expertos evaluaron el
instrumento y se obtuvieron valores aceptables demostrándose así que los reactivos
son claros, pertinentes y relevantes. Asimismo, tras el análisis descriptivo y
atendiendo a los índices de modificación se eliminaron seis ítems (1, 3, 4, 5, 14 y 15)
para mejorar el ajuste del modelo. La escala mantuvo su estructura trifactorial y con
ella alcanzó un coeficiente de McDonald con valores que oscilan entre .67 a .76 en
sus dimensiones y .84 en el factor general demostrando que cuenta con
confiabilidad. Además, se realizó la validez externa con la Escala de Resiliencia de
Wagnild y Young, mostrando una relación inversa de magnitud pequeña con el
constructo homonegatividad internalizada.
En conclusión, la Escala de Homonegatividad Internalizada (HNI-10) demuestra
tener propiedades psicométricas adecuadas en la muestra estudiada,
considerándose útil para la medición del constructo.
