The research was conducted during the period 2016 to 2018 in the Ibarra Canton of Ecuador. The quantitative method implemented in the development of this research was the analysis of simple and multiple linear regression with the application of the SPSS software tool (version 19.0) with the main objective of analyzing the tourism supply and demand to help generate practical recommendations for the decision makers. With the application of the quantitative method of analysis of the simple and multiple linear regression it is shown that there is a linear and positive relationship between the number of tourists, infrastructure and gastronomy. The results obtained provide reliable information to the stakeholders involved in decision-making regarding the need to adequately manage the infrastructure and gastronomy services of the Canton Ibarra tourist offer.La investigación se realizó durante el periodo 2016 al 2018 en el Cantón Ibarra de Ecuador. El método cuantitativo implementado en el desarrollo de esta investigación fue el análisis de la regresión lineal simple y múltiple con la aplicación de la herramienta informática SPSS (versión 19.0) con el objetivo principal de analizar la oferta y demanda turística para contribuir a generar recomendaciones prácticas para los tomadores de decisiones. Con la aplicación del método cuantitativo de análisis de la regresión lineal simple y múltiple se demuestra que existe una relación lineal y positiva entre la cantidad de turistas, la infraestructura y la gastronomía. Los resultados obtenidos aportan información confiable a los actores implicados en la toma de decisiones sobre la necesidad de gestionar adecuadamente la infraestructura y los servicios de gastronomía de la oferta turística del Canton Ibarra.
