dc.description.abstractThe present investigation consists in analyze and understand the conceptualization of the evaluation of learning in the Ecuadorian educational regulations of the Social Sciences area of the Unified General Baccalaureate. It is a documentary, critical-creative and hermeneutical type investigation within the qualitative paradigm. It is based on the bibliographic review of different philosophical, pedagogical and educational investigations to identify the educational model, the pedagogical tendency, the conception of the evaluation and its foundation, and finally, understand when the teachers might plan, the design and application of evaluation strategies, techniques, methods and instruments based on the translation, inference and interpretation of the conceptualizations and arguments expressed in official documents.
