dc.description.abstract | In the present study, a strategic plan was elaborated for Génesis Hidalgo hostel from Pichincha Province, Quito Canton, La Victoria neighborhood, the mixed methodology was used with a quantitative part supported by the application of surveys to the clients and a qualitative part where the interview was used as a primary information collection instrument. The results obtained in the tabulation of the survey data allowed to determine that the Genesis Hidalgo hostel has a deficiency in the management of advertising since most of the respondents indicated that they did not know the hostel. While the interviews applied to different members of the corporate team of the hostel allowed to see that, they consider that the administration of the hostel has not yielded the expected economic benefits due to the lack of adequate administrative tools to maximize sales in the establishment. Among the main conclusions are that the Génesis Hidalgo hostel has extensive experience of more than 10 years and that it currently has 5 rooms in which it provides temporary accommodation service. The strategic plan is oriented toward the promotion and digital diffusion of the hostel, which involves the creation of a fan page and an informative web page. It also determines a 30% growth in clients for the year 2023, an expansion of services with the inclusion of 3 rooms that must be built in the next 4 years, and a hygienic hostel positioning that seeks care for the environment. Finally, it is recommended to implement the suggested plan to maximize the profitability of the hostel. | |
