dc.description.abstract | The Covid-19 shows a reality of three times, before, during and after becoming a global pandemic, being the last two challenging for all mankind, especially in Latin American countries such as Ecuador, in the most populated cities such as Guayaquil, the daily commercial activity is the main economic income of many families, especially for vulnerable sectors that had problems in marketing activities. Given the new context, it was essential to implement financial strategies in the different areas of commercial activity in order to achieve a successful commercial reactivation. This article aims to identify and analyze the financial strategies implemented by the owners of footwear stores during the post Covid-19 commercial reactivation process. For this, a mixed approach study is applied, using as an instrument a survey with 25 questions applied to 6 shopkeepers owners of the 8 footwear stores present in the study sector and an interview of 5 open questions to 4 of the surveyed shopkeepers. The results showed that the merchants surveyed used financial strategies in an empirical way, they made loans to commercial banks and private individuals to pay debts from the pandemic period, and to reestablish their workers, in addition to reaching agreements on payments with suppliers to maintain the flow of merchandise, in this way they were able to reactivate themselves in a range of 2 months. | |
