Resumen
The work focuses on the analysis of power concentrators as active and intelligent elements of systems where several power generators are concentrated. Therefore, the present research has developed an optimization model, based on linear programming, that allows establishing the hourly power allocation of Energy Concentrator Systems (ECS) or energy HUB, using natural gas and electric energy as energy inputs. With the purpose of satisfying the demand of electric energy and the energy consumption associated to temperature conditioning systems, and minimizing the costs of electric energy production or the one generated by the use of gas. For the technical and economic assessment of the optimization model, an energy concentrator configuration consisting of an electrical energy conversion system, a cogeneration system, a boiler and a cooling system has been used. The result of the model provides the utilization and interaction of the resources, achieving the optimal energy allocation of the resource for a period of 24 hours reducing the related costs.
