Abstract

The essay analyzes the daily manifestations -social, labor, educational, family, and cultural- of the intersectionality of symbolic violence against women and the dissemination of gender stereotypes in the mass media that normalize discriminatory attitudes; concludes by indicating the inclusion of symbolic violence in religious beliefs, customs, and television programs.
