dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research was to apply steam explosion pretreatment to flaxseed to determine if there is a higher yield in oil percentage. The percentage of oil without pretreatment was 28.91% while the percentage of oil obtained with the pretreated seeds was 50.69%.
