Resumen
In the following investigation, it is possible to collect the benefits and disadvantages that SMEs have in the city of Guayaquil, using the ERP Odoo system as the main tool in process management. Currently there is a high percentage of companies that found themselves in the need to end their work activities, due to the reluctance to change in work processes and the negative impact of adopting or using new digital tools as their main process manager, thus interfering the new work modalities implemented by the government due to the pandemic. The objective is to analyze the degree of sustainability, the reactivation strategies and the optimization of processes that companies obtained by implementing the Odoo ERP system, to manage their activities and operational processes. For this purpose, an empirical-analytical methodology is used, taking as reference the data and information of articles, pages, magazines and forums. Among different aspects that are qualitatively related to our objective of analysis and for the treatment of relevant data, multiple correspondence analysis is carried out, which allows us to deduce the main factors to be analyzed. Among the results, it is possible to observe a large percentage of companies that adopted or maintained the odoo ERP system as their main tool in process management, in addition, they have a high degree of automation and improvement in response times between optimized processes. It is concluded that among the main barriers or causes of the companies that have not been able to implement the system, are not the investment costs, nor the limitations due to the lack of software, since it is a multiplatform system and has completely free versions, the main ones. barriers are the reluctance to change, the fear of losing information, the lack of technical and functional knowledge of the system and the adaptation time required. In addition to this, there was evidence of a decrease in production costs, services, equipment, security, hosting, among others, due to the ease of access it provides.
