dc.descriptionEl presente estudio surgió a partir de una serie de preguntas vinculadas a la persistencia de la figura de Antígona en las teatralidades latinoamericanas y a la posibilidad de considerar al teatro como una práctica cultural asociada a la conservación de la memoria. Las distintas versiones latinoamericanas del mito evidenciaron que, como señala Byung-Chul Han (2016), la violencia es una constante en la historia y sus formas de aparición varían según las constelaciones sociales. Mientras en la Antigua Grecia la guerra era un ejercicio material sobre los cuerpos de los combatientes y las víctimas, en la actualidad la violencia se torna anónima, desubjetivada y sistémica.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe present study is based on a series of questions linked to the persistence of the figure of Antigone in Latin-American theatrical performances and to the possibility of considering theatre as a cultural practice associated to the preservation of memory. The different Latin-American versions of the myth make clear that, as Byung-Chul Han (2016) points out, violence is a constant in History and its ways of showing up vary according to the social constellations. While in the Ancient Greece the war was a material exercise over the bodies of the fighters and the victims, nowadays violence turns anonymous, unsubjectivated and systemic.en-US
