dc.descriptionEl presente estudio tiene como objetivo revisar, exponer y comprender el impacto y las consecuencias del uso excesivo de la tecnología digital (Smartphone y redes sociales) en las relaciones sentimentales. La investigación tiene un alcance de análisis documental. Se exploró desde la noción de los estudios socioculturales de la comunicación, poniendo énfasis en los aportes de David Morley, Manuel Castells; desde la visión antropológica del consumo masivo cultural, de Nestor García Canclini y Michel Maffesoli; la visión psicológica en amor líquido de Zygmunt Bauman, y social de Erving Goffman, quienes, desde sus propias visiones teóricas, reconocen la importancia del papel de las nuevas tecnologías y su relación con el ser humano. Al respecto, los resultados indican que el uso excesivo de los medios virtuales tiene consecuencias más negativas que positivas en las relaciones sentimentales, ya que ocasiona conflictos permanentes de desconfianza, de celos y aumento de la dependencia emocional, cuyas soluciones son el diálogo o la ruptura definitiva.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe following study is a review article, the objective of which was to review, expose and understand the impact and consequences of excessive use of digital technology (Smartphone and social networks) in romantic relationships. The research has a scope of documentary analysis. It was explored from the notion of sociocultural studies of communication, emphasizing the contributions of David Morley, Manuel Castells; from the anthropological vision of cultural mass consumption, by Nestor García Canclini and Michel Maffesoli; Zygmunt Bauman's psychological vision in liquid love, and Erving Goffman's social vision, who, from their own theoretical visions, recognize the importance of the role of new technologies and their relationship with the human being. In this regard, the results indicate that the excessive use of virtual media has more negative than positive consequences in romantic relationships, since it causes permanent conflicts of mistrust, jealousy and increased emotional dependence, the solutions of which are dialogue or rupture definitive.en-US
