Características clínico-epidemiológicas de los pacientes con diabetes con mal control metabólico en el Hospital Zacarias Correa Valdivia- Huancavelica 2017

La diabetes mellitus comprende un grupo de enfermedades metabólicas caracterizadas por hiperglucemia lo cual se puede asociar con complicaciones.
Objetivo: Determinar las características clínico epidemiológico de pacientes con mal control metabólico.
Tipo de estudio: Transversal, analítico y retrospectivo
Materiales y métodos: Se evaluó a 209 pacientes atendidos en el Consultorio de Endocrinología del Hospital Regional Zacarías Correa Valdivia.
Los datos se obtuvieron por medio de una ficha de recolección de datos.
Resultados: El 58,9% de diabéticos mantuvo una glucosa basal entre 80 y 130mg/dl, el 44,5% una hemoglobina glicosilada <7%, colesterol LDL 2,4%inferior a 100mg/dl .El 81,3% una presión sistólica inferior a 130 mmHg y el 76,1% una diastólica inferior a 80mmHg, Solo el 0,5 %presento control metabólico adecuado tanto en niveles de HbA1C, colesterol LDL y presión arterial sistólica.
Conclusión: Solo el 0, 5% de los pacientes diabéticos tipo 2 consiguió un control metabólico acorde a las recomendaciones de la Asociación Americana de Diabetes.
