El presente estudio denominado aplicación de la geomecánica en el nivel 4480 para
prevenir accidentes por desprendimiento de rocas en la compañía minera Kolpa S.A.
Huancavelica, tiene por objetivo determinar en qué medida la aplicación geomecánica
compresión uniaxial (X1), módulo de Young (X2) y coeficiente de Poisson (X3) se
relacionan con la prevención de los accidentes por desprendimiento de rocas (Y.
Se trata de un estudio del tipo descriptivo correlacional donde se relacionan la variable
dependiente (Y) y las variables independietes (X1, X2, X3). El tamaño muestral comprende
96 observaciones del tipo no probabilistico, tamadas 8 muestras cada 50 metros de un total de
600 metros.
Se propone un modelo regresion lineal multiple entre las variables (Y–X1,X2,X3) y
tres modelos de regresion lineal simple entre las variables (Y–X1), (Y–X2) y (Y–X3).
Con un nivel de significancia de 0.05, se ha logrado demostrar que la aplicación
geomecánica compresión uniaxial (X1), módulo de Young (X2) y coeficiente de Poisson
(X3) se relaciona directamente con la prevención de los accidentes por desprendimiento de
rocas (Y), en el nivel 4480 de la Compañía Minera Kolpa S.A. a un nivel de 0.8431 esto
indica que el 84,31% de la variabilidad de la variable dependiente es explicado por las
variables independientes.
El aporte principal de la investigación consiste en presentar modelos de que tienen
aplicaciones, como, realizar pronósticos para determinar los valores críticos de compresión
uniaxial, módulo de Young y coeficiente de Poisson que puedan estar relacionados con los
accidentes por desprendimiento de rocas.
