En los últimos años la Escuela de Postgrado de la Universidad César Vallejo – Sede Huancayo ha crecido; este crecimiento ha venido acompañado de un aumento exacerbado de los niveles de morosidad de los alumnos que básicamente se traducen en pensiones de enseñanza y matriculas vencidas no pagadas.
En la presente investigación el problema general formulado ha sido: ¿Cuáles son los factores que influyen en la morosidad de los estudiantes de la escuela de Postgrado de la Universidad César Vallejo – Sede Huancayo?; cuyo objetivo fue: determinar los factores que influyen en la morosidad de los estudiantes de la Escuela de Postgrado de la Universidad César Vallejo – Sede Huancayo; el tipo de investigación utilizado ha sido: explicativo o causal de tercer nivel, cualitativo – cuantitativo; los métodos de investigación utilizados han sido: el método científico, inductivo-deductivo y analítico-sintético; los instrumentos utilizados en la presente investigación han sido: de la variable independiente el cuestionario de los factores que influyen en la morosidad y de la variable dependiente la ficha de observación; y la conclusión general a la que se arribó ha sido: El 95.2 % de la variación de la morosidad esta explicada por la política de crédito, voluntad de pago y capacidad de pago el resto está explicado por otras variables no estudiadas.
