The increased incidence of heart disease in the world population has become a serious health problem and focus of many concerns. The emotional aspects are being increasingly investigated as possible factors triggering or aggravating heart disease. The family relationships are the most important source of social support, and can also influence and be influenced by this experience so it also need to be investigated. Emotions aspects / psychological involved in heart disease, symbolic meaning of the heart, the family support, feelings and emotions that underlie it are also contemplated. By reviewing theoretical books and scientific papers were found several authors who share the idea that the family dynamics interfere with the health condition of the family member. The bonds, emotions and feelings pertaining to family dynamics, according to most of these researchers, can contribute to the development or worsening of heart disease.
