Resumen
This research aimed to understand how the psychotherapeutic process is characterized, with regard to therapeutic interventions, in a Parent-Baby Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (PPPb) with risk in child development and how the risk indicators behave throughout psychotherapy. Babies that have no clinical indicators observed from the IRDI (Clinical Indicators of Intensive Development Risk) are considered at risk and the problems that were the focus of this study are those of the subjective constitution order, structural problems in the subject constitution, representing a prognostic risk towards severe childhood psychopathologies. A qualitative, longitudinal, exploratory and single case study research was carried out. Participants were a parent-baby triad at risk for child development and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a specialization in developmental disorders. All 30 psychotherapy sessions were recorded and later transcribed for the analysis of the psychotherapist's interventions by two judges and also for the application of the IRDI. Interviews about the psychotherapeutic process were carried out with the parents and the psychotherapist at 3, 6 and 9 months of intervention. The baby was also followed up from the IRDI assessment at the beginning of treatment, at 3, 6 and 9 months of psychotherapy. It was possible to verify that the therapeutic interventions were modified along the process, being that in the evaluation period the support interventions were the most present and, with the passage of time, prosody interventions became the great part of the interventions. It was also possible to assess that development risk indicators decreased considerably during psychotherapy.
