Resumen
The research developed in this dissertation covers the Valley Taquari - RS, located in the east of the state, which extends between the Central Plateau and Depression. The work is the study of elements and structures that constitute the archaeological site RS-T-114, located in Marques de Souza (22J E: 0390392 N: 6760335). The site is in the floodplain (river terrace), 40 meters from the right bank of the River Fork. Through the analysis of material culture the site is characterized as belonging to archaeological Tupiguarani Tradition. From the material culture was attempted to identify the interactions with the environment. One of the strong elements of the dissertation is the study of lithic material, which realizes that the group produced a variety of artifacts. The analysis of ceramic shows the repetition of shapes and decorations already described for the group.
