dc.description.abstractThis thesis aimed to analyze the role of the female intrapreneurship (IE) in the internationalization process of companies. For this matter, five Brazilian managers female were identified, which work in front of the international area of the companies where they work. We opted for industries with strong international activity. From depth to depth, we sought to understand the career path of the five interviewees and events, or events that were associated with IE and the internationalization of companies. It was identified that international and entrepreneurship orientation, in addition to the use of networks and leadership as elements associated with participants and specific in the literature. One element that emerged from the results was the interviewees' great persistence capacity. The main ones identified, even if well managed by the participants, were the male environment in international business and a reconciliation with the Family.
