| dc.description.abstract | Companies are increasingly looking forward to long and reliable partnerships, focus on quality and control processes. The integration between customer and supplier has brought some benefits along the supply chain. The objective of this study was to analyze the current system of supplier management from identification, selection, development, qualification and monitoring. The bibliographic is focused on issues of supply chain, purchasing, supplier selection and development, qualification and monitoring of suppliers. To achieve the objectives of this study, a descriptive research with qualitative approach through a case study has been released. The study showed the importance of relationships in the supply chain and the development and qualification of suppliers. It was evident from this study that the company already has some procedures of selection and qualification of suppliers, however, it requires improvements in processes as a whole. | |
