El gasto público y su relación con el empleo en el Ecuador. Período 2016 – 2020

En el presente trabajo tiene la finalidad de mostrar la relación del Gasto Público y el empleo a lo largo del periodo de 2016 – 2020. Por tanto, en la investigación se usó un enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, utilizando un método descriptivo y analítico para explicar el funcionamiento de las variables de estudio. Además, es necesario resaltar que en el año 2018 tuvo un incremento mayor del Gasto Público con una cifra de USD $44.059,27 millones, mientras que la tasa de empleo adecuado/pleno tuvo un crecimiento de 42,30% en el 2017. También, la realización de los análisis de los modelos de regresión simple para establecer la relación del Gasto Público con los niveles de empleo. De tal manera, los niveles de empleo que tuvieron una mayor correlación con el Gasto Público fueron la tasa de empleo adecuado/pleno y la tasa de subempleo ejecutando un 75,16% y 96,60% correspondientemente a los años que tuvieron un mayor porcentaje. This paper aims to show the relationship between Public Spending and employment over the period 2016 - 2020. Therefore, a quantitative and qualitative approach was used in the research, using a descriptive and analytical method to explain the functioning of the study variables. In addition, it should be noted that in 2018 there was a greater increase in Public Spending with a figure of USD $44,059.27 million, while the adequate/full employment rate had a growth of 42.30% in 2017. Also, the analysis of simple regression models to establish the relationship of Public Spending with employment levels. Thus, the employment levels that had a greater correlation with Public Expenditure where the adequate/full employment rate and the underemployment rate running 75.16% and 96.60% correspondingly to the years that had a higher percentage
