The Guayas River Estuary is a fluvial system formed by the interaction of the confluence of the Daule-Babahoyo Rivers and the variation in sea level, with an approximate length of 60km from the mouth to Puná Island. Sedimentation, an anthropic process of the estuarine ecosystem, is caused by the dominance of the tide in the transport of sediments, causing the formation of islands and sandbanks; which incites: loss of navigability for vessels of medium draft and increase in the level of the river at high tide. The objective of this research is to carry out the dynamic analysis of the sediment transport influenced by the tide, at the confluence of the Daule-Babahoyo rivers; which will allow: monitoring the behavior of the flow and strengthening decision-making for works or projects. Using the Iber software, the simulation of the theoretical hydrodynamic model will be carried out and the behavior of the flow will be studied with the results.
