Uso del theracal-bisco como protector pulpar indirecto en restauraciones de resina

Abstract

El Theracal -Bisco es un liner cavitario a base de silicato tricalcico modificado con resina que actúa como protector pulpar ante la necesidad de tratamientos conservadores, convirtiéndose en una excelente opción ante lesiones pulpares irreversibles, extracciones prematuras y tratamientos endodónticos apresurados. Puede ser utilizado como base protectora en restauraciones indirectas que impliquen materiales como resinas, cementos, y amalgamas, destacándose por sus excelentes propiedades antibacterianas, acción de curado, aislamiento y compatibilidad con el tejido dentario. OBJETIVO: Establecer de qué manera el Theracal-Bisco actúa como protector pulpar indirecto en restauraciones de resina. METODOLOGÍA: Se realizó una investigación de desarrollo cualitativo, lógico, inductivo, analítico-científico, histórico-lógico y retrospectivo para obtener llegar a cumplir los objetivos y el marco teórico planteado. RESULTADOS: El Theracal-Bisco es un excelente protector pulpar fotopolimerizable para la formación de dentina reparativa. CONCLUSIONES: EL Theracal-Bisco actúa como un excelente protector pulpar indirecto aportando beneficiosas propiedades a la restauración dental. Se estableció los componentes, propiedades, indicaciones y contraindicaciones del uso del Theracal- Bisco como un protector pulpar para prolongar la vitalidad pulpar.

It can be used as a protective base indirect restorations involving materials such as resins, cements and amalgams, standing out for its excellent antibacterial properties, curing action, isolation and compatibility with dental tissue. OBJECTIVE: To establish how Theracal- Bisco acts as a pulp protector. METHODOLOGY: A qualitative, logical, inductive, analytical-scientific, historical-logical and retrospective research was carried out to achieve the objectives and the theoretical framework. RESULTS: Theracal-Bisco is an excellent light-curing pulp protector for the formation of reparative dentin. CONCLUSIONS: Theracal-Bisco acts as an excellent indirect pulp protector providing beneficial properties to the dental restoration. The components, properties, indications and contraindications of the use of Theracal- Bisco as a pulp protector to prolong pulp vitality were established.
