Beneficios del apego precoz en la salud del neonato en Hospital Gineco - Obstétrico Pediátrico Universitario de Guayaquil

El apego temprano, inmediato o precoz es el primer contacto que tiene la madre con el recién nacido luego del parto y se asocia a múltiples beneficios. El objetivo del estudio es identificar los beneficios del apego precoz en la salud del neonato de pacientes atendidas en el Hospital Gineco-Obstétrico Pediátrico Universitario de Guayaquil durante el periodo Enero 2021 a Febrero 2021.La metodología empleada es de tipo observacional no experimental, descriptiva, modalidad cuantitativa de corte transversal; la muestra está compuesta por 100 pacientes que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión, se aplicó una ficha de observación y valoración de la temperatura del neonato. Resultados principales: Con respecto a caracteristicas de mayor interés, edad materna menor a 20 años en el 39%, nulíparas en el 47%, recién nacidos masculinos en el 61% y a término en el 81%. La duración del apego precoz fue de 15 a 30 minutos en el 62%; con respecto a los beneficios neonatales se observó cambios en la temperatura previa y después del apego, inicio de la lactancia materna en el 80% y calmó su llanto en el 78%. Propuesta: Estrategia educocomunicacional con la finalidad de promocionar la práctica del apego precoz y sus beneficios a través de redes sociales.

An observation and assessment sheet was applied to the newborn's temperature. Main results: Regarding characteristics of greater interest, maternal age under 20 years in 39%, nulliparous in 47%, male newborns in 61% and full-term in 81%. The duration of early attachment was 15 to 30 minutes in 62%; Regarding neonatal benefits, changes in temperature were observed before and after attachment, initiation of breastfeeding in 80% and their crying calmed in 78%. Proposal: Educational-communicational strategy in order to promote the practice of early attachment and its benefits through social networks.
