Diseño de un sistema de gestión ambiental basado en la Norma ISO 14001:2015, para el GAD Municipal del cantón Las Naves.

Abstract

El problema encontrado en el GADM del cantón Las Naves, es que no dispone de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental, que le permita aplicar correctamente los procedimientos de sus actividades sobre el medio ambiente a través de una planificación estructurada, motivo por el cual, el presente trabajo investigativo, ha establecido como objetivo principal diseñar un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental en el GAD municipal Las naves, basado en la norma ISO 14001:2015, que ayude al desarrollo eficiente de los recursos naturales del cantón, por esta razón, se realizó un estudio para determinar la brecha que existe entre los requisitos que dicta la norma y lo que cumple el GAD. Como consecuencia se encontró un 35% de incumplimiento de requisitos, lo que es ocasionado debido al inadecuado seguimiento por parte de los responsables del área de gestión ambiental, siendo indispensable la implementación de acciones correctivas que permitan elevar el nivel de cumplimiento. Como instancia final, se realizó la viabilidad y costo de implantación del proyecto el cual es $5795.

The problem found in the GAD Municipal of Las Naves canton, is that it does not have an Environmental Management System that allows it to apply correct procedures of its activities on the environment through a structured planning, which is why the present investigative work has been established as the main goal to design an Environmental Management System in the Municipal GAD of Las naves Canton, based on the ISO 14001: 2015 standard, which helps the efficient development of the natural resources of the canton, for this reason, a study was carried out to determine the gap between the standard requirements and what the GAD complies with. As a consequence, there was a 35% finding that didn ́t compliance with requirements, which is caused due to an inadequate follow-up by those responsible for the environmental management area, being essential the implementation of corrective actions that allow raising the level of compliance. As a final instance, the feasibility and cost of implementation of the project was carried out, which is $5795.
