The objective of this research work was to design a logistic model applying the Clarke
Wright routing model to minimize delivery time and choose a better routing, in the Las
Lomas Industrial City located in Lomas de Sargentillo Canton. A methodology was
proposed with a quantitative and qualitative approach, with a descriptive and exploratory
scope. The research sources were primary and secondary through the use of texts and
documents. The development of the theoretical perspective will be based on the review of
academic documentation and virtual platforms. The conclusion was that, when applying the
logistic model through a mathematical procedure, taking provided data from routes and sub routes, the unwanted ones are discarded and the desirable route is found to satisfy the
delivery orders throughout the country; tracing new routes on the first, second and third
order roads, favoring companies to minimize distance, time and in turn the logistics cost of
transport.
