The consequences of respiratory diseases have a higher incidence and high rates of
morbidity and mortality due to the injuries caused by having suffered or suffering from these
diseases, since the sequelae associated with respiratory diseases affect cardiopulmonary disorders,
bacterial superinfection or of another nature in the lungs or other attached organs. This generates
the manifestation of functional disorders that directly affect the prognosis of the quality and
lifestyle of patients and their families. Therefore, the idea arises in this research to manifest the
conditions of Covid-19 patients due to tuberculosis, which were captured in the Francisco Jácome
Maternal and Child health center, which has been a first-level health care facility which was chosen
sentinel for this type of patient. A qualitative, phenomenological approach was used applying
interviews to patients in the sector. A medical evaluation, diagnostic tests for Covid-19 (PCR) and
tuberculosis (sputum examination) were applied.
