The present investigation was carried out in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry of the University of Guayaquil, it had the objective of determining the productive behavior of the shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using as supplement in the feed, hydroponic corn flour at 8%, used in a sustainable rice-shrimp farming; incorporating the complementation to the treatment group that a control group presented. Performing weekly samplings to obtain biomass values, with a total of 4 samplings, in 30 days of study. For the statistical analysis, a unifactorial Random Design was used using the INFOSTAD software, through the Duncan test, giving the following results: The design presents statistical significance (P 0.004), in size of the treatment group compared to the control, with a Variation coefficient of 3.53 cm in size. Mortality showed values of 10% in the experimental group and 20% in the control. Thus, it is concluded that supplementing the diet with 8% hydroponic corn flour improves the productive behavior of the shrimp
