Bone resorption is one of the most common problems that occur in patients with partial edentulism, they are produced by some factors, among which we have, the absence of teeth, that trigger alterations and malfunction of the stomatognathic system. The objective is to determine the effectiveness of the removable partial metal prosthesis with Kennedy class I in a patient with bone resorption. Case report: Female patient, 50 years of age with no systemic or family history, referring as a reason for consultation "I want to have a plaque down". When performing the extraoral exam, he did not present any abnormality, and in the intraoral clinical examination it was observed that the patient presented a total functional prosthesis in the maxilla and partial mandibular edentulism with Kennedy Class I. The radiographic analysis showed the presence of bone resorption in the inferior edentulous space. During the interrogation, the patient revealed that since she lost her teeth, she has not used dental prostheses in the lower arch. Conclusion: It was possible to return the masticatory, aesthetic and phonetic action of the patient, managing to recover the facial physiognomy and a normal dental occlusion, obtaining favorable results until now.
